I'm having a heck of a time keeping mole skin down on my quick tunes launching arms. It keeps wanting to come off.

Any ideas or alternatives out there would be appreciated!!!

Theris a product out there called "muff" I am not sure where to get currently but it lasts much longer than mole skin and seems to have a better adhesive

And no matter the adhesive, make sure you thoroughly clean all surfaces with alcohol or equilivent

Not sure exactly how you've tried it, but I wrapped my Ripcord with moleskin and it stuck fine. But I had to wrap it all the way around the prong (so it sticks to its self) and then trim off the extra. Worked great.

I personally prefer shrink tubing on my metal launcher arms. Never need to worry about adhesion because it form fits with a little heat.;)

That and it's alot thinner,
some of those other moleskins or felts are close to a whole nock point,
no biggie if your bow is tuned with em on,
but if you've been shooting all year bare prongs and are just putting them on before the hunt,
that issue needs to be addressed.

Before I went to my Muzzy Zero Effect, I used these on my arrow rest prongs:

I cant find shrink tubing that will cover my launcher arms....they are too smallHome Depot. Check the electrical department. They should have sizes as small as 3/64ths. It shrinks to 50% of that size. ;)

I have had good results with the hunter implants in the past. They are great, but wear out fairly quickly. To get more life from them I would always turn them to the same worn side for in-season practice, then rotate them to an un-worn spot after shooting, so that they were ready to silence my draw in the woods.

I tried to post a phot of my rest but i cant get it too work, anyways, I don't think the implants will work on my rest

Do you have the V launcher pictured here? http://www.bowhunting.net/artman/publish/napquicktune2100.shtml Or prongs?

Blows the shrink tube thought out of the water. When you apply the moleskkin you may have to put slits in the outside edges of the middle to get it to form properly to the "V".

I have a big enough piece of mole skin that i could mess with it enough until i get the shape right. I'll try the slits this time and see if it works Thanks!!

It sounds like you all think silence is important.

Just a note, I saw some stuff that Schaeffer Performance Archery in Burnsville, MN had in their shop last year. Very similar to the rest implants. I spooked a deer at 17 yards by drawing across teflon lined arrow launchers last year with carbon shafts.

Amazing how well they hear!
