Has anyone seen an ad for a new mono or braid that floats and is suitable for spinning gear? I thought i saw something in Great Lakes Angler magazine a while back. I want to find out who makes it so i can buy it...if it exists.

Thanks...

Siglon made a floating line that a lot of centerpin guys use. They have since discontinued distributing it in the US. There is a braid out now as well, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. I think maybe Pline makes it.

Thanks guys. I just ordered a spool. I am really looking forward to trying it.

If it floats really well, i may try it for ice fishing also. I have missed many fish on tip ups in shallow, weedy bays because the line drags through the weeds and hangs up before i get a chance to set the hook.

Why would Siglon stop producing that line? Isn't it kind of their signature line? I have some, and it works GREAT for me. It doesn't weaken from sunlight, and maybe they don't sell enough of it, because it doesn't need to be changed very often?
