From the Benzie County Rercord Patriot;
DNR officials recently announced an Oct. 22 public info meeting, from 6 to 8pm, to present the final conceptual plans for a new boat access site on the 9,711-acre Crystal lake in Benzie Co. The public is invited to attend and express thoughts and concerns relative to the proposed boat access site. The metting will involve a presentation by the project design consultants with a question and answer period to follow. DNR Parks and Rec. Bureau staff will be on hand, as well as local community leaders.
The meeting will be held at the Benzie County Central High School Auditorium, 9300 Homestead Rd. Benzonia.
I sure hope there's an equal number of sportsmen and women to the number of lake residents. This lake realy needs a good boat ramp and parking area.
