Does anyone here use injectable marinades in their BBQ? If so, what type of marinade and for what type of cuts?

I've used OJ before and injected it into my ribs before and let them sit overnight and they've come out alright - nothing special but they did have a nice sweet and tangy taste that I was looking for.

I tried Wild Cherry Pepsi injected into a pork butt a few weeks ago during my first attempt at making pulled pork and it came out PHENOMENAL. I've read of Pepsi's caustic properties before so I only injected the morning of the cookout.

Today, I'm trying my hand at pulled pork again but this time I'm trying an Arnold Palmer injected into the meat. I'm hoping it comes as good or better than the Pepsi experiment. Only time will tell.

So lets hear what you guys use or if you think I'm totally off my rocker in my experiments.

I use the Cajun Injector stuff. I've tried just about all of them. I usually take a whole loin, inject it, cut it in 2" pieces and wrap in bacon. Use a toothpick to hold the bacon on. Cook it on the grill till the bacon looks done. Mmmmm. Just don't overcook it.

Melt a bunch of butter and pour a bunch of garlic powder into it and then inject into pork, beef and or turkey/chicken! Let sit for 24hrs. and cook! It will be the best piece of meat you have ever eaten!!!
