Fremont Lake is well what can you say its Fremont.
Zebra mussels seem to be taking effect. Lake is fairly clear even though the rain stirred it up a bit. There are a few large algae blooms very green and slimy.
Fishing for yellow bullheads is good. :D
Few crappies here and there.
Need some cool weather to get the water temps down still at 75 degrees and water clarity and warm temps keeping fish deep. Even the crappie are coming suspended in 20 foot plus.
Stunted perch and rock bass can be caught in 6 foot of water. Few perch to 10 inches but not many.
Take your license as DNR has been out.
Most boats I talk to have zero fish including some that have been vacationing here all week.
Havent caught an eye in a while.
