I newly acquired a Mathews Conquest 4, 63lbs right now, 32" draw, estimated speed 300 fps, trophy taker drop rest. While shooting some cost effective "whitetail" arrows from gander mountain they make a pretty loud whoosh/whistle sound as they fly per my dad while standing off to the side.

Thanks in advance for your OPINIONS on arrows and types of vanes!:)

Looking for recommendations on some reasonably($40-$60 per 6) priced arrows for hunting and targeting. plan on hunting 25 yards/less. targeting up to 50 yards (just because it can):D

if you dont make your own arrows you can find this setup already made at almost any archery shop or hunting store

I would say gold tips w/ blazers, epics are reasonable too. Never shot them though. So dont know about the quality.

easton axis st with the hidden insert jazz...although they are a pain in the butt to get out of 3d targets, they are good arrows.

i shoot Cabela's Stalker Extreme with Blazer Vanes.

right now....$59.99 per dozen.

i shoot 100gr @ 72lbs. draw

i have had no problems with these arrows, other than i tubed 3, and broke 3 on "bionic" 3-D targets....lol

CX Terminators, Blackhawk Vapors, Victory V Force, Goldtip XT, Beman ICS, Easton Axis all are reasonably priced arrows and will get the job done.
