Headed out to the St. Clair light. Picked up 1 10 inch perch. Nothing for awhile so made the move out to 27 picked up 1 wally tried the same path a few times nothing else moved to the other side of 28 picked up 1 wally and some perch. Slowed so went back to 27, picked up 1 wally. Gave it some time slowed down so tried the light one more time before heading in picked up 1 more wally, ran out of worms 4 dozen tried gulp with no results except 1 rock bass anchored for some perch for awhile by the light with limited success. final tally was 4 walleye 15 nice perch. Lots of boats up and down the channel today anybody do any good??

Thanks for the report! How far back were you running your baits and what colors were you using? Am I correct in assuming that you were using BBs?

Was out near 27 and 28, only managed to get one. Saw one other caught and someone get into a muskie Otherwise pretty slow. Moved over between 27 and Huron Point, a few perch and sm bass over there..

I worked the same area on thurs. with only dink perch to show for it. In my defence I had the big boat, so I couldn't trool...just drift!
I NEED PERCH.....NOW!!!

Orange was the hot color. Beads and blades. Was not running the baits too far back at all. I was just touching the bottom with the BB and did 2 quick reels to get it above the weeds. Was using 2:2oz and 2 :1oz, Had to rebait plenty with the smerch in the area
