Any recent reports for Fletcher's? Going there in a few days and haven't seen much posted about the pond.

I was up with a group on 8/9-8/16 the water was high and the weather was up and down. Mostly worm fished for bass. The topwater action was best the last hour of daylight. I had some friends go the week after us (8/16-8/23) and they struggled as well but had better luck in the mornings. Good Luck!!

Throw something, Throw anything at them..

Just kidding, use white mepps, awsome... I'm telling ya.

Good luck and have fun.

Fishing has dropped considerably in the past few years at Fletchers.....not sure why, but it's down from past years.

Fished Fletchers this past week and yes the fishing was not good. Used white and chartruse spinnerbaits, floating Rapela minnows of various colors and only caught one 18" or so, pike. I did get in the boat, one 24"+ ugly dog fish, and my wife hooked into another huge dog fish later in the day. Didn't even have any other bites. Fished south of Jack's and over by the railbed on the west side near the pine pennisula. I thought the fishing may have been slow due to it being late summer, but by some of the other posts it sounds like it has slowed down at Fletchers.

On another note, went to the marina in Roger's city and ususally this time if year the salmon fishing is at it hottest. There were about a dozen trucks in the marina parking lot. Last time I was there this time of year, there was a waiting line to launch your boat. Any ideas on why the fishing there has slowed down?
