Holland State Park Tips?

Hello, Me and the wife are traveling to the west side this weekend to holland and I was thinking about bringing a rod and do a little fishing. I see Holland State Park has some fishing piers and was wondering if anybody has had some expierence fishing over there. Any general info would be appreciated. Thanks!

On the Lake Michigan pier you MIGHT get lucky and lay into a salmon as they are supposedly congregating near the pier heads lately. On the inland end of the channel you might find a bass or walleye or two.

Look in the pier reports and talk to daveash,I don't know him but I always see his posts about pier fishing.
