I would have thought Joe would have a deal put together by now.
Could it be no one wants any part of what the Pistons are offering?
Anyone have any news or rumors?
I was thinking the same things. Could be some of the following:
A. Cant get the right deal done for a player he wants.
B. Cant get what he thinks is fair value for his players.
C. Other teams are asking to much for their players.
D. He's afraid to pull the trigger on a major deal.
E. He thinks the team is just fine and that he can micro manage them to the finals.
Personally, i realy dont want to go into next season with the same lineup.
I would really like to see a quality big man who can play big in the paint.

I think your pretty much right with A thru E. My gut feeling is, he is'nt
getting much reception or value for Rasheed and the others, from the rest of the league.

The team could be better with the young guys starting to pick it up a bit,but a far as trades I don't think Joe wants to give up draft picks or the young talent!!!

All you need to do is go back and search all my posts concerning the Pistons and Joe Dum-****...,, they'll tell you all you need to know...
One rumor I did hear was that Stern didn't want any players traded or free agents signed somewhere else during the Olympic's,, dunno if that was true or not.
The bottomline is,, all the Stone's players were a product of the system,,, Larry Brown's system.

I agree. I think Joe has overvalued his players when compared to the rest of the league. He wants way to much in return and the other GM's are hesitant to pull the trigger. But with some of the other bonehead trades/signings, you would think at least one GM would take the bait.
