3d target

Well I have a cheap 3d target. I was shooting yesterday. As soon as the first arrow hit it I knew something was wrong. Ants covered the arrow immediately. Well I used ant and roach spray. I srayed the whole dang target down. When I went to pull the arrow out the whole center section came with it. There was the nest so I hosed that down with ant killer as well. Now should I dust the target as well. I leave it out all the time. I am not worried about it getting stolen. This is the first time I have ever had a target attacked by ants like this.

Thats weird....but anyways if its a backyard buck probably toss it...

It is the cabelas buck cost around 80 dollars. The thing is it is only a year old. I am going to put up a fight with these ants before I decide to toss it. Some more ant killer spray and we will see what happens. If that does not work then I will trash the target. Then I will dust the ground pretty heavily and then put a new target in.
