Was out yesterday morn @ the firecracker and came up with the big skunk. About 9:30 I decided to check out the break line along Seaway island across from gull island to see if I could mark any fish along the break and noticed someone had a tent and a boat anchored right at the point of seaway.
I thought man that sounds like fun, pull up in the boat, set camp for the weekend and party! As I was slowly pulling by a guy starts walking around the camp in the nude!:yikes: go figure?? .Hope he had his girl friend in the tent!
His motto must be "PARTY NAKED"

Alex got 4 walleyes but all before daylight.
If you are talking about Sunday morning I actually did get the 5th one into the boat about 9 am to make a Detroit River limit, the first one in about a month. Always so close up to now.
For the most part the fish would start to hit about 6 am or about 45 minutes before the sun came up or about the time there would be enough light to see the lures set up on the tackle box. They kept it up until around 9 am when they would shut down.
Congrats to Donald. He did a good job with that fish. Then, of course, he took off to have the fish filleted out and then he ate it. I tried to get a bigger Walleye but missed by about a pound or so. This one weighed 5 lb - 10 oz and came in on the hook on a custom painted Rap (black with dots). Again, send congratulations to Donald.

Nice Job on them Eyes there Alex!! You have that area down pat!! I managed to squeak out 3 for 4 Sunday, missing that #4 at the boat side!! It hit the z-plug just after I had the shank in my hand to pull the line in for cleaning!!! It must have followed that bait all the way up from 20 ft. of water! One thing nice was the size of the fish Sunday......all in the 22-24" range!

Nice job Alex V. I like the "ORIGINAL Clown" (bottom orange one, w/black spot etc.)you were using... Most don't know that was the first clown...

yo alex-v. Did you custom paint those rapalas

It is a custom paint job that I picked up at Lakeside in St. Clair Shores. Don't remember when I picked it up. But, based on the eye color it is one of Mark's painting efforts. I don't remember who painted or where I got the black body with chartreuse dots.
The middle two are Rapala paint jobs. The bottom of the middle two is their Clown pattern (code letters CLN) and the one above it is the Hot Tiger (HT) and is available only at Frank's as far as Frank's is concerned and all other attempts to order it through wholesalers. It is the same basic pattern as the Fire Tiger but with different colors.
