Weatherman says Today, Friday, and Saturday should be about carbon copies... sunny, low humidity, clear (for the most part) and highs in the upper 70's to low 80's. Lows in the upper 50's at night. Given that the fishing was pretty good this morning... what would you guys expect for the next couple days?? So what will this do to the inland lake fishing?

My thought is that it will stabilize the fish... keep then shallow early and late and put them on the first available cover in deeper water once the sun gets higher in the sky... making them a little bit predictable.

Other thoughts???

If I could find a decent population of walleye I'd be filling the freezer Mike....

Inactive fish, for the most part, but they have to eat some time.

Mike - Stable weather = GOOD, plus there is a Full Moon Friday ! Sharpen up the hooks - grab the Senkos, should be GREAT. Bob

pressure has more to do with it... stable weather helps when trying to define and implement a pattern because nothing changes... but if its a high pressure system for 3 days, don't expect the big ones to be biting real well.

3 days of nice weather, on a weekend, even if the fish don't bite, I am ok with that. It's been so long it seems since we had some nice stable weather, I'll take it under any circumstance I can get it (even if it means getting skunked on the lake...)!!

In my experience though I would have to agree with the high pressure issue, but like it was said, they gotta eat sometime!!!!

:yeahthat: 3 days of steady pressure is ideal for eyes.
