I received my cabelas gift card in the mail yesterday and am deciding between some new bow gear.

For broadheads I am deciding between the:
Montec G5 Striker
Crimson talon
Rocket Aerohead

I am going to use these in conjuction with the cabelas stalker extreme carbons, but the change that will be made to my arrows is from plastic fletching to the blazer vanes. Never having shot blazer vanes my question is do I have to have them straight fletched or can the have a right/left helical to them?

1st, of the broadheads mentioned I would opt for either of the G5 brands. The Montec if you are proficient at sharpening blades, the Striker if yuou are not.

2nd, The preferred method for fletching Blazers is a straight offset of 2-3 degrees. I have only a right helical clamp for my Grayling so I use a helical. But with the length of the Blazers, the helical is very very small and hardly noticeable. Go with the straight offset if you have that option available to you.

Rocky Mountain Gators or Snypers. Awesome broadheads.
