Bucktails to catch what? I have a nice spinner maker that enables me to make spinners in any configuratin I want. As far as off the shelf bucktails, I like the little Mepps for stream Smallies and Pike. There is a Basser kit with 6 baits for about 14 bucks available. For Pike and Muskie I prefer the Blue Fox Vibraxes and Grim Reapers. Pricing on those is dependant on style, they come in single and double bucktails, various weights, blades, etc.

Not sure exactly what you mean by a bucktail, but I tie some hair jigs using various colored bucktail and a 1/4 oz. lead head jig. Red and white have been good colors for me on the bass and pike. All white or all red work also.
