While I am very familiar with cooking all sorts of food by various methods, I am wondering..... I have not eaten goose before and also have not cooked it. There are lots of recipes out there but I was wondering what would be the "best" way to cook my first bird? I have 4 breasts and some legs in the freezer, skinned and already soaked in saltwater. Not sure if I should have soaked them in salt.... Regardless, thats what I have to work with and was wondering your suggestions. I do not want to cook all of the meat at once, I am only feeding me. Thanks for the ideas!!

Certainly, slow-roasting in an over will give the best results (see "Cooking Your Goose" in this forum.) The breast meat can be grilled (slowly over low heat) if oiled and turned often to keep the meat-juices inside while it cooks.

A sweet/fruit sauce is excellent as a dip or topping.
