Was just up last weekend with some friends. The city marina wasn't busy at all we got right in and out with no problems and never had to wait. Either we got lucky or gas prices are keeping people away.

Fishing was great on Saturday, but really dropped off on Sunday. Saturday and Sunday almost every fish was taken on a J-plug ;)

I'm there every weekend. I'm taking a lot of vacation time this month too but I'm taking a day or couple here and there when the weather is favorable for fishing. The fish are starting to stack up lately. I have a seasonal at Cartier. They got wi-fi this year if any of you are staying there.

Why fish the point when YOU can get fish elsewhere! You just might see me out there near you if you're not off the water too quick. Red & white Rinker.

I won't be using my wireless for work. I'm 30 min. south of Lud so I try to keep up with the weather & fishing reports.

You should be able to find fish in shallow (40-60') in the early hours.
Up until last yr I fished out of a 17' SeaNymph and went as far as the Beach house but you need to know your boat and pick your days. Not that I haven't been caught in some rough water, that's where knowing your boat comes in and knowing when to quit!
