I am pretty sure that there is a decent size group from AT that are going up to Saginaw. Most of us are only shooting on Saturday though.

We have a group of 5 at the moment but more are jumping on the wagon. I just got back from the R-100 in Wabash Indiana this past weekend at Bass and Bucks. That was the best shoot I have ever attended and well worth the money.

Well at least you got your 1000 point pin in Wabash. Hopefully I can get my second pin. Have fun setting up those blinds.

Here are a couple of shots from the R-100 in Saginaw Michigan.
Here is a picture of (from right to left) SlingBraid Ben, Miheadhunter and Adam. This Alien was shot from and elevated stand at 35 yards (3 12's and a 10)

Here is Slice's bonus apple shot that was from 35 yards. I was the only one in the group to get the bonus apple.

A shot on the Stegosaurus.

This course was much more difficult then the Wabash, Indiana R-100. There were numerous targets over 50 yards and some over 60. We all managed to get our 1000 point pin though. Some great arrow flinging and S*I* slinging was going on.

The average shot was 24 yards on the african side and 22 yards on the north american side. the rinehart people set the distance on the targets and where they went.
this was the frist time for the club to host the shot hope fully if we do it again next year we can work on some of the long waits .
I hope every body who showed up had a great time we enjoyed have every body it was fun.

We had a great time, the main hold up was the groups in front of us that were taking 2 or 3 shots at the targets or had 6 to 9 people in their group.

We blew through the North American side in the morning with no waiting. The African side we waited on every shot. But like I said people would take 2 or three shots because they missed then would spend 10 minutes trying to find their arrows. I just wish they had a ranger out there pulling the slower groups aside and letting the faster groups through.

We still had a great time......

We also had a slow group in front of us Sunday on the African course. At one point we had probably 3 or 4 groups of 2 waiting behind us...that is while the guys in front of us were still shooting! :dizzy: It was still a great shoot...glad to see it come to our area!

i will have to say that the waiting was kind of a good thing with our groups..we got to talking with the people infront of us and behind us....great people and the conversation along with the good weather made it fun

It was a great shoot, probably the best one I have ever attended. Saginaw Field & Stream did a great job of pulling this off. I really enjoyed the stretched distances on the African course, all of the 20 yard chip shot ranges around here are boring. There were a few targets on the African side where we waited, but I think a couple of those were needed breaks. And other than the tool who said his 70 lb 30 in X Force is one of the smoothest pulling bows he's shot :coco:, everyone we talked to was cool.

The short waits did not bother me, but when they turned into a half hour on 3 or 4 targets that got a little much. We were shooting all 100 on Saturday and that added to an already long day. The line shooters that passed on targets then came back didn't help much either. They slowed that already slow people up.

But a great time was had by all...

Hey guys...if you really liked how the shoot was ran at SF&S, please by all means contact Rinehart and let them know that you would like to see it there in the future. Once again, I think SF&S did an outstanding job with the shoot and would love to see it come back!
