If i was looking on the used market for the smoothest drawing bow I could find with a 75 to 80% let off with a draw around 50 to 55 #
What would recommend?
Im thinking of exploring my options to have both a crossbow and a regular bow so I can have a choice
Please dont bash crossbow, Im asking for real advice

Definitely have to check out the Diamond(Bowtech prior to 06) Archery lineup with Freedom cams. In my honest opinion the Liberty is the smoothest drawing bow ever in a conventional compound. Another smooth drawing bow is anything from Oneida. Haven't checked out the Monsters yet but I hear the same thing in regard to them..

Nothin' holds a candle to the Oneida's or the Monster's for smoothness of draw and easiness on the joints.
And there's no reason to even mention crossbows. YOU brought it up. ;)

if you want a great drawing bow that comes in on a budget look into the bear line up...the lights out is amazing and it will not break the bank...now if time and money wasnt a issue i would say call me....
dont go xbow untill you have no other options....

Most youth and female archers hunt with 40-45lb draw and 24-26" draw lengths and get full pass throughs.
With a 28" or longer draw length you could get by with 40-45lbs easily.
If you could find a bowtech justice or liberty era 2004, you'll be in good smoothness as mentioned with the freedom cam. However, these bows still seem to carry a good price tag.
Same goes for any PSE with the NRG single cam...very smooth draws and the PSE's can be found fairly cheap. I know Mojo 3d's are going for 300.00 new on ebay.

If you think you can use it, I think I have an Onieda that I haven't used in years and you can have it, I think it needs a string. I think its a screaming eagle?????
Let me know and I'll dig it out. They are right about it being smooth and at one time it was the fastest bow out there, I bought it from Rick Klien, new by the way.

Also take a look at some of the dartons made for the last 10 years. Both the maverick and the yukon are going to be pretty quick but very very smooth drawing. Just try one you will love it.

I was worried all day long, I kept trying to remember if I had given that bow away or not. I usually wind up giving my old ones away to someone that needs one. Anyway I do still have it and it does need a string and its the Onieda AeroForce. It has the quiver and pollington sight on it which you can have as well, If you want it, let me know, I'll even give you the field locker case. Herpes not included:D, get your own.:D

thanks again
After talking to Terry On the phone, I will be the first to say he is a fare and honest guy. Very easy to talk to and not a bad guy like i think alot of people think
I'm saying this with honesty and not because of the bow given to me. It will be fixed up used and then passed on to some one in need:)

Although I've never "spoken" to him, I've exchanged PM's with him and I have to agree. These debates are nothing personal and I hope he never takes any of my comments that way. The generosity he's shown to you speaks volumes of his character. ;)
