I've never used Blazer vanes but was thinking of trying some on my son's arrows. I have a Bitzenberger jig with a helical clamp I use for normal vanes or feathers. Will that work with Blazers or should I use a straight clamp?

It will work but don't expect a true helical with such a short vane. I recommend a straight offset if possible. Another thing I should mention is that with the helical clamp on such a rigid vane, you should allow for more time in the clamp after gluing due to the tendency of the vane to want to straighten out once it's released..

Thanks for the tips MH. I think I'll try a couple with the clamp I have first and see. Worst that can happen is I have to re-do them.

Michihunter, I took your advice you posted about using the locktite supergel for the blazer vanes, nice stuff and cheap too:) much better bond than the instafletch I was using:) thanks, tom

Glad you had success with it. Definitely a cheaper (only in price though;)) alternative.:)
