North Pier Oscoda

I was just informed that someone has removed the 4x4's from the wall on the north pier,:rant: if you fish it you know what I'm talking about. I don't know if it was the DNR or someone from the trailer park, I haven't seen it for myself so don't jump on me if I'm wrong but got this info from one of our buddy's that fishes there regularly, I don't know think he'd lie. You might want to check with Wellmans (I would think they would know) before you make the walk for nothing. I will let you know if someone replaces them (I'm sure someone will :evil: ) or if I find this to be untrue. Maybe Jon (A.S) took them with him when he moved (LOL) and yes I know I spelled Oscoda wrong!

Shawn, they could have just gotten broke off from the storms, I heard you guys had some pretty good ones. I'll tell you what, I'd put money on whacking atleast one king off that pier right now, no problem.....

It's true they are gone and your right we have had some good storms roll threw, it's possible they got ripped off by one of them. I believe the chains are gone too, thought maybe you took them so no one could fish the north side while you were away.:lol: I guarantee they will be replaced real soon because like you said it's just about time to hit it.
