My best BBQer/Smoker - ever

I had been looking for something like this for years. My better half stumbled upon this last month at our local Kroger. The Chargriller DUO is a side by side gas/smoker combo, for less than $300 at Kroger - (more at Lowe's). I can't say enough, they designed this with most everything in mind except to include the meat; to charcoal, smoke, BBQ, or grill. Thermometors in each side, easy cleaning, you can install a Texas side smoker (extra $) - on and on. Pretty easy setup, seasoned it and ready to smoke. No rotiserie yet, they are working on it.

Last night my wife pulled in the driveway with my birthday present,, a new grill. I love her to death but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:( she had no clue as to what I wanted and I had no clue that she was getting me one. We have to add "grill/smoker" to the list of things that women should NOT buy men as gifts,, without prior discussion.

1. Shotgun (or ammuntion)
2. Hunting Dog
3. Hunting Clothes
4. GRILL/SMOKER

Feel free to add to the list....


I should add that she did offer to take it back and get one that I wanted,, I'm just not sure I have the heart to do it.:(

That's why my wife and daughter get me gift cards and attach them to adds/pics of what they wanted (gun, grill, tools, clothes) to buy me and I can go get the one I wanted. BTW - I do the likewise for the girls when it comes to clothes and such! :lol: :yikes: ;)

WHB-Maybe you could put on a funky Kramer outfit, that fur hat, coin changer, auger, and make enough money drilling ice fishing holes come winter on LSC to buy the grill your REALLY want...:lol:
