I saw that last night
It's hard to believe that 52 pro's came in without a fish?
And on top of that there were only 6 limits

May flies are probably raising hell with them.

Yes, there were lots of zero's during the FLW tournament. Not so much because of the Mayflies though as they really don't kill the bite up here like I know they do in some places. The tough bite was mainly from the Alewives in shallow spawning. It looks as though Alewive numbers are up. At least in Green Bay/Lake Michigan because we haven't seen Alewive numbers like this in quite a few years. I think the other thing the guys struggled with is the colder water temperatures we have this year. The water temperatures in Green Bay are running about 5-10 degrees colder than usual. Everytime we get a north wind, all the warm water in the bays gets blown out and replaced with much colder water. Finding warm water is really important this year for finding active fish and I don't think some of the guys realized how important it is/was. I posted video from 2 of the weigh-ins on (You Tube). The final day weigh-in is posted on Google. If anyone wants to see the video, just do a search for FLW on those sights and you should come across the videos...

geez and can you tell how bad off michigan is? in the co-angler division both wisconsin and minnesota(both with half the population of mich roughly 5 mil each to mi's 10 mil) had more participants than we did:sad:
