Planning a weekend trip to Traverse City in 2 weeks. What are the top Bass fishing inlakes? Thanks.

May be the wrong section, but I'll try. Elk Lake is good, Long Lake is good although quite busy. Those are two that jump out at me.

try arbutis, tons of largies good size, and quite a few big smallies, gotta go real deep for them now htough

Arbutus put a greenie out off the Launch dock a week ago a couple of once shy of the Sate Record!!!

Fish the East Bay.

East Bay is good, but try West Bay first. I have been catching some pigs out there this summer.

Lake Leelanau has an outstanding smallie population. Buzzbaits over the top of the weedbeds and you,ll slay 'em. South end of the south lake!
