A buddy and I went up and stayed near grayling this past weekend, fished the holy waters a bit, but with little luck. moved on down stream and fished south of mio/north of mckinely, and did rather well sunday afternoon/ evening, went back monday morning and did extremely well, the water level was very high sunday night, but was back down alot by monday morning trico's were getting some bites, but blue winged olives and terrestrials were definately drawing the most attention from the fish, while it was sunny we were throwing anything with rubber legs, and the bwo's once the clouds came back, iso nymphs also did well in the bigger water during the day. just thought i'd share what worked for us, i definately dont want to be back down here though, hope to get back up within the next couple weeks. tight lines to all.
