Au Sable upstream from Grayling

I'm renting a cottage on Big Bradford lake next week and was wondering about the fishing/access for the Au Sable headwaters...From what I have read, access is limited but my county map book shows some primitive roads in the area.

Any info would help!

Not a big fan of the AS upstream from Grayling. The Manistee above 72 can be good. Don't miss the N branch of the AS. One of my favorite haunts.
