1996 6hp Evinrude Outboard Long Shaft
Starts and runs great every time.
Very Low Hours, was used as a backup motor on my boat.
The only defect is a chip out of the bracket (see photo), this does not effect the operation of the outboard.

Weird place to have a chip. What's the story on that one?

Happened a couple years ago, put it in reverse without the tilt lock fully engaged. Gave it a little too much gas, it poped up crushed my hand (hurt like hell) and then went back down. Somewhere in up and down it tilted to the side i guess and hit the bracket chiping it. Still goes up, down and locks though.

Two stroke or four. I want an 8 horse long shaft, but six might work as a kicker for me.
