View Full Version : Use extreme caution
National Weather Service is calling for 20 knot winds and waves building to 4' today. UH, right, winds at 15.5 knots right now and waves are 6.9'. Tomorrow will be windy as well. Lets all think about this real hard.........

Guess I'm NOT gonna get a chance this weekend to see if my repair worked. :( :(
Oh well, maybe one day next week.

Sunday is looking pretty good, unfortunately the schedule is tight this weekend. Don't know if I will get out or not. Wouldn't mind going perching. Might do Sanilac real early instead

So if you were going out for perch were do you think the best bet is?
GP and the mile roads ?
Out by the channel?
Grass Island?
Need a idea, I have been going for walleye the last couple weeks.
Thanks
I don't know about Perch, but IF I launch Sunday and we get all the rain we are supposed to tonight, I'm going to give the mud line from the Clinton a thorough going over.

Well I just got back in from one heck of a wild ride. Took a few waves over the transon while anchored off the stern. Decided to head home and while surfing the huge rollers, I nose dived one and put at least a 100 gallons of water in the boat. I swear it was a foot deep in the back area. Be careful out there guys. After the perch derby I'll give a report on where we have been doing pretty well.;)

John, I knew you were pre-fishing for the tourney and wondered how you had been doing. Again, good luck to you and all the guys fishing in the HPYC, hope the weather isn't a factor.
