I have been trying to get some info on a small stream in presquile county that is listed as a "blue ribbon" stream. If anybody could help me with info like good location to acess the stream, types of flies, lures live bait etc. it would be greatly appreaciated. I am new to trout fishing so any help would be great. I have a place up on Lake Nettie so next vacation I wanted to do some exploring/fishing. PM if you have information on streams in the area worth trying

Bump, I got one PM, hmmm eveyone is tight lipped about this area and or its not worth my time?

Grew up in the area, still have a family cabin in the area, folks can be tight lipped about the area...both blue ribbon waters in Presque Isle county are worth your time.

The exploring part is on you...

Tricos, olives and terrestrials (hoppers, beetles, ants ect). Some might also suggest small streamers and/or nymphs but i generally don't mess with that in August.

Thanks for the response, its encouraging. You mention 2 blue ribbon? Hmm I did not find any information on a second. Again thanks for the response
