Saginaw River walleye

No, I haven't caught any- I'm just wondering if anyone has even bothered attempting it yet. It's a month earlier than I've ever tried it, but I was hoping someone knew something I didn't.

Bait is just starting to move in, a few eyes being caught, but darn few. Wait 2 weeks and pray for cold rain.

I'm spending the weekend (26th) in Saginaw. Any words of advice on the river?

If the fish are in, go south of town, on the west side of the river, and use the Lee St. launch. Head south until the river splits, and fish from there back towards the launch. Jig head with minnows, and stingers usually work in this area, jigging. Good Luck. let me know how you do.
