Most anti crossbow people have the standard argument that an xbow is nothing more than a GUN that shoots arrows. So with that in mind, what would you classify a vertical bow if by chance it shot bullets? Would it be a bow still? Or would it become a gun?

I personally would call a bow that shoots a bullet a 'firearm' and hence would be considered a gun. (BTW- I wouldn't consider a 'pellet' a bullet in the question I posed. Although technically it may be considered one. Maybe I should have added 'with a propellant of gunpowder'). I see you conveniently left out your opinion. Your turn.;)

I just can't understand why any of the anti xbowers haven't answered this hypothetical question. I guess the trap is just too plain in regards to offering a rebut to their own arguments, huh?
