You guys be nice, I have lived here all my life and it's a great little town:D As far as fly fishing lessons go, I would say to check with Gander Mountain on Westnedge. Or better yet check with the local Trout Unlimited Chapter. I could give you lessons but I am not much good at it either. Are you a member of the fishing club at Western ?. I have talked with them via the computer a little and was thinking of doing a little seminar for their group.

HEY, what's wrong with living in the Valleys? I spent 2 1/2 yrs in Harvey. Then had enough of it and moved off campus in Redwood apts.

Does Western have flyfishing classes? lol he he Maybe I should go back!

I had a great time and Western and I'm kidding about the Valley. I lived on the fourth floor at Harvey Hall. Do they still let you check out a cafeteria tray and sled down the hill in winter? What a riot! I then moved to Knollwood, then to Green Briar(or Green something) in the st. ghetto.

Glad to hear they have a fishing club and good suggestions fishctchr. I had some great times in Kalamazoo!

Oh boy, here we go. I lived on 3rd floor Hadley in the valley. Then moved to knollwood. I lived on Forbes St. a while, then carriage green on West Main, then nottingham apts...hmmm, I moved around K'zoo quite a bit. Also had better choices for fishing over there.
Western was a blast (and quite a bit of work too...)! Somedays I wish I could go back but it don't work that way;)
Anybody like to frequent Wayside?

You have got to be freakin' kidding me. They have FLYFISHING as a class at WMU. I always miss the good stuff. I took raquetball and bowling for my PE. Let me tell you, if it was flyfishing, I would have gone to bed on time and never missed my PE class. sheesh, kids have it easy these days. :p

easy, how much easier can it get than bowling. lol. at least fly fishing requires technique. besides the bowling alley is in the process of being removed
