View Full Version : Anyone Interested in Helping to Organize a couple of rides this season?

Hey All!

Just wanted some input from some of you.

Anybody interested in organizing a couple of get-togethers this upcoming season. (Something similar to Meet and Greets) Mancelona and surrounding areas to the west seem to get a good amount of snow.

If you have any ideas let me know.

I ride the Benzie & Manistee Co. trails and would like to get together with others. Mabe we can post later on into winter in the outings forum.

Not a problem.. Was trying to see how much interest there maybe before I spend any time getting somthing together.

Yes it is a little early but I think the interest is there. There are a lot of senic rides on the west side but I will trailer for a get together.

Yup, My wife and I ride the Lake City, Kalkaska,Fife Lake, and any where else we can find snow... Like the 125MPD (miles per day) average... but more if the trails are in great shape... Lets go!

Hey people I cant beleive I actually found people interested in snowmobiling tried chatting in yahoo but no one wants that there... Would love to get together with others to Ride.... But I am usually further North but would be willing to try anywhere...

keep checking back every now and then...
the closer we get to the season the more chatting there will be..

there are a couple of people that would like to get a group together and ride like the wind...but we have to pray for that one ingredient....SNOW!!!!

I'm in. We've ridden the Jordan Valley in that area a few times and it's excellent.
I was in the upper this weekend. Freezing rain yesterday morning in Newberry. Won't be long.

Count us in. We ride the Gaylord area every weekend. If trails are bad, We know the pipelines very well. We have a winter campsite at Headwaters Resort in Waters. Great place with great hospitality, also we have a bonfire every Saturday niight there all are welcome.

I keep checking back this is first time in a few days however... I cant wait for that white stuff... I work nights so have days to play while my son is in school.... But usual dont have anyone I know to ride with... all family members to busy with husbands and kids... lol... Take care

A snowmobile has one good use and that is to go icefishing with:D :D :D

Oh come now chad there is more to do with a sled then fish.... but I suppose that is a good thing also.... But I would catch fish when the weather is warm.... lol.... ;)

talking about skidooing already. i have not even got a deer yet.:D i have a place in irons and know trails from baldwin to freesoil to empire to cadillac. oh and the best of grand marais. i would be happy to help out in these areas. although the deeper the snow the better the winter steelheading is. ;)

w/c sayes snow/rain here on thursday. sucks for my lawn service. and i hate snowplowing.:mad: have a nice day!

I'd love to go with you guys if we did manage to organize a meet N greet, but the only problom is that i ride an arctic cat and I don't think that any of you could keep up with me :D

Just kidding I would love to go but I have to talk to the wardon befor I make any plans

ill check back when we actually have some snow on the ground, im in for a trip or two. dont forget the novi show is this weekend too nov. 1st 2nd and 3rd. get all your staples, belts plugs carbides, happy trails!

I ride in the Kalkaska area, and always ready to ride (snow permitting of course):D Willing to travel as well. Let's ride like the wind!!!!
