Fished out in front of the GPYC, yeah, in the small pack from 8:30am to 2pm.
Took home just less than a one man limit (for one man fishing).
It was pretty much a 50/50 mixed bag of 8 to 12 inchers.
Mud minnows and small to medium size shiners on a single green or orange #6 perch rig was wht I was using.
Most all of 'em had one or two crawdads in their bellies!
Wind was not bad like what was predicted. Only blew at most around 8 mph or less.
Now for the good eating part.................

lead bouncer, is there a public boat launch near there? I'm new to St. Clair fishing and was looking to get into some perch. Not sure where to launch or where to go.

Yes, there are many launches.
I use the "new" DNR ramp (see posting on this site for map), the St. Clair shores "resident only" ramp between 9/10 mile($10 fee) when its really blowing and I want to fish that nearby area and the St. Jeans ramp in Detroit (this is a crapy area and even worse ramp) when I'm at that end of the lake.
There are many more public ramps in the northern part of the lake, also.

Seems less & less people want to tell the whole story, as October 5th approaches. Anyway, nice catch "leadbouncer". Guess we won't know where the really good perch fishing is till Saturday afternoon.

Who has "emerald" shiners?
