fishindude644, how did you find the rivet pops and cracked hull? I have a 2001 Starcraft Pro-Elite and have I am getting water in the bilge area and I can't locate the source. I have two auto livewells and I have tried everything I can think of except, I haven't plugged the livewell intakes yet. Any ideas?????/

Walleyehog, how much water are you pushing through your bilge? A couple things come to mind: 1) Could the water be coming from your livewell, getting in behind the plastic insert while you are under power, 2) holes that were drilled for speed and temp or transducer sensors. Do you get the water even when the livewells haven't been run?

i took the boat out of the water and ran a hose in it and found the leaks right away. then cirled the rivets that were leaking. i noticed the crack right away so i knew where that was

The wind really shut the perch down today out of Leamington. From 8 till 1 we caught about 50 over 8". That was between 5 of us. We moved 3 times and had to work for them. Sunday was awesome. 186 in 4 hours. Still worth the trip when the weather calms down.

Snuck out of work an hour or so early. Made it down to Bolles Harbor by 5:00 p.m. Went staright out to E-Can. Several boats. All were catching fish, but they were touch and go. Better overall size compared to my last time out (9-11 inches) with a less throw back dinks. No token sheephead, 2 silver bass and the girlfriend caught a little smallmouth bass. We didn't kill them, but we have a couple dinners worth. Biggest ones came on gold bladed spreader with red beads. Good luck to all !!

We fished Leamington again. Last day fishing for us. My boat is put up and my buddy took his home.
About 70 keepers. Nothing great, but steady action. Tough finding minnows this morning and the ones we finally found were huge. All the other fishermen we saw were going to Colchester. They said the perch were on fire over there.
Good luck all. Talk to you next spring.
