View Full Version : marysville shore fishing saturday morning

Just moved to marysville and me and my 8 year old son gonna do some shore fishing at the beach by the ramps.My question to anybody is what can i expect to catch and how do you recommend to frish that area? all and any help will appreciated. thanks guys

use a triangle sinker about 3' up put a split shot and cast it out then tie a snap swivle on both ends of a 4' leader and then put a pencil plug/rapala/or a crawler harness on and hook the snap swivle on your main line and let it slide down till it stops at the split shot GOOD LUCK

or just cast and retrieve a 1/2, 5/8 oz jig head with a 6" twister tail.

:yeahthat: We've done it for years there...brother lives 1/4 mile off the river right in Marysville, and is doing it every night or two. Throw on a pair of waders and you can wade out 20-30', then just cast upstream, count of five or ten (depends on current and wind), and retrieve it in. You'll get some.
