I am sure everyone else out there has noticed by now the reduced amount of boat traffic compared to years past! Goopd for fishing that's for sure.
There has been a huge drop off of boats staying the weekend at Metro except for the Jobbie Nooner weekend. It wll be interesting to see the number of boats this weekend brings out on the pond and in the river.

I've really noticed the # of those loud blaster boats has really decreased. Also, the real large cruisers that go too close and throw the giant wakes is way down.

Imagine what the high diesel costs are doing to the commercial netters and trawlers.

Kinda sad though to see what it is doing to the charters. It has gotta be really tough to be a charter skipper-not that it was easy to begin with.

Yeah I haven't even attempted to fish out on Anchor Bay/northern LSC on a weekend in years because of the A-holes in cabin cruisers and jet ski's. When I did, I was off the water by about 10am. Good to hear that traffic is down because I'm heading out there to chase some perch soon ;)

Noticed that at the launches. Lots of empty spaces, even when coming back in.

Noticed the same thing...lots of people in the marinas just kinda hanging out on their boats, riding around in either small jet boats or dingy's..

It's almost like car pooling now, people jump on others boats, split the gas, etc...

It's really hurting the economy thats for sure
