Kinda sucked. Launched outta Metro and started at the firecracker.......picked up one eye on a Shake-e-blade harness in chart. The wind and waves were makeing boat control very very tough. Moved to the Dumps and lost one fish that may have been an eye, and picked up a half dozen decent perch. Thank you Mr. Weather moron......... shorts and a T-shirt made for a pretty miserable morning. Note to self.... put rain gear back into the boat and LEAVE IT THERE!:lol:

Just about to go home for the night, and I read about some more vampire's:lol:. I don't know how you guy's do it. I'd be a freaking zomby the next day. Chris is right, I am indeed 75% Polock (which would explain my walleye problems, and many other issues;)..... and the rest, pure German:lol:. Brent, give me a call if you want a tag-along on a Saturday evening. Can't swing the rest of the week:(. I'll give you a call Chris.

No Polock here 90% german 10% irish and 100% slathering of Redneck, but I am sure thats evident in my posts:lol:.. Matt I dont think I can do saturday the 5th because I have a party that night and thats a tough night to get into the good spots anyways, unless your handlining..

Chris if you want to do monday and tuesday you will have to stay out to at least 1am and bring the subs.. I have all the equipment all you have to do is bring the food, what time can you get to Saint Clair by Mushy?..Cya Slick

I can already see the Kielbasa sandwiches being made!! :lol::lol:....You know your alright when there some Polish in you!! Like Mushy said matt....tough year on the lake for Eyes....Pull out that handling gear and get out some of the weekend mornings Early and hit the river!! Either that or switch to perch!! I think we are making a run to the Canadian side this weekend...Weather permitting ! for some of those Yellow Bellies!!

I don't handline, or have the equipment...... Kinda scared to open that can of worms (or gulp as Slick would say:D). You'll never believe what a certain perch Natze said to me about perch fishing this year....... I nearly fell off the boat.... I'll let you guess who that was. I fully realize that this year is tough. I still enjoy being out there with good friends. One last thing, POLISH AND PROUD OF IT!!!!!!! plus, it's a built in excuse:lol:

while i'm sitting on shore, because i'm to young to drive a boat.... or have money to afford even a canoe... catching bass because the season just opened. heck, i even caught 4-5 9-11inch perch from shore. couple smaller ones, but only a few. the sad part is... i didnt catch any keeper bass. like, 3 were 13 inches, 1 under the minimum size. but hey, i listen to the laws

Although earlier this spring when the river was on fire would have been the better time....If your ever want to give it a shot...let me know!! I've have a few students I've taught that are doing quite well know!! ;)

All in good time my friend. I was fishing for bass and bluegill in ponds from 1st grade thru highschool. I didn't even catch a wallzeye untill I was 18 or 19. Enjoy the simplicity of shore fishing. My Lord I'm sounding old!:lol:

I don't doubt that a bit. Can't wait for the Fall in a certain channel;).

Slick, I will give you a call......Yeah Man, thats no problem staying to 1:00 am, just work the next day.....I dont need my beauty sleep, like some other Polock-German guy......:lol: Subs, Keilbasa, Hunters Sausage, what-ever.....I can get to St.Clair when ever you need me there.....
