Went out with buddy "Rattling Ron Scott" last night at 7:00pm. Had to find the walleyes but once I did we got them. The water is so clear we could see bottom in 35 ft. Moved around on the canadian side and found them in 50 ft. range. We where using 3/4 oz. chrome spoons and ended up with 9 walleyes and lost about that much on the way up....When we got there we had the whole area to ourselves....More boats came out before dark.
Only see one other walleye caught and the guy was using drift rig with worms. The spoon bite was on again but you have to find them first.....
Water temp. is going up, around 65 degrees, the walleyes where hitting the spoon on the fall....Had a great time!
Good Fishing,
Todd
