Me and a bud caught two today on the Huron. 20 and 17 incher. We were fishing Hudson Mills area. Anyone else catch them there. Was this a freak accident caused by the unnatural allignment of certain stars or did a blind squirle find a nut

that's pretty cool, I've never heard of anyone catching any eyes near HM...
(probably because most people wouldn't talk about it publicly if they did)
congrats on the catch!

I used to catch a lot of Walleyes below the Portage Lake Dam. They held there year round but the first two weeks of December were big fish times. Try a 1/8 ounce ball jig with a Berkley Power Grub or Gulp Minnow for best results.
Fish the current breaks. They will mostly hold in slacker water next to the current break waiting for prey to go by in the current. In the summer cast directly into the chutes.:fish:
