My neighbor who is fishing every week says that he is still seeing bass spawning. His guage says the water is cooler than normal for this time of year perhaps due to the rain because I can't think of any other reason.

Up here on the medium to smaller lakes the smallies are starting to finish up and move off the beds . The larger lakes and GT Bay have them on beds and alot of them roming around. Water temps are all over the place too. From the low 60's in the bay to low 70's here on Birch Lake.
The Hex hatch just got rolling up here in Elk rapids too. So that is affecting some of the fishin patterns.

I think they are definitely still on their beds up here. At least in some areas. Caught a big fatty earlier this week that still looked full of eggs.

Hmmm, its been super post-spawnish all lakes Ive been to over here lately. Hoping/expecting that would end soon, hard to tell if they are post cold front or post spawnish (or still both).
Either way fishing been bad (slow)

I don't live far from Freeport...they're close to being out of the post-spawn-funk around here IMO.

I can't speak for the lakes around you. But here's a link to my results from a couple of hours Wednesday evening:

They were all from the same area. A couple of snorkelers came up to me while I was fishing there and told me they saw a bunch of bedding bass right in that area.

Post spawn here mainly, a few late spawners still on beds.
