Ever since this crossbow BS (yes, just my opinion) started, all the "regular" bowhunters seem to have gone elsewhere. I hope that's not the case.

After all, we're coming up on 90 days here .......... :grouphug:

I was thinking the same thing the other day! Actually with the 3D season in full swing I figured the archery forum would be used a little more than it has been. I'm still here...:coolgleam

Everyone's 3D'n I hope;)

I've been putting them together, taking them apart and changing this, changing that...

By the time I finish it's usually Sept 15th and 3D is over...than I start the process over with the hunting bow:lol:

I'm still around. I hibernate in the winter. Then in the spring and summer I'm very busy with work, but I'm still here.

I have checked out other forums and finally signed on with you maniacs. So you can say I am the New Kid on the Block.
Wanted to inform you bow benders that Perch Point Conservation Club will be starting there walk-thru league on July 24th and it will run for 10 weeks. Rain or shine. If it rains they have an excellent indoor facility.
Also, if you do not want to shoot the league open shooting is available.
Take someone new hunting, so they can find out why we "LOVE-IT."

I'm still lurking around here as well. Haven't changed the setup in quite a long time and that's actually saying quite a bit...so I really have no new updates on equipment to pass along.

Still shooting the Monster Bows Phoenix
Blazers
CX Arrows
Sword Sights(Trident now)
Ripcord Arrow Rest
Posten Stabilizers

I have switched to Aftershock archery broadheads...Maniac specifically. Great little head.

new this year include a Sure-Loc QC-1 sight for my DXT - and I love it.

Also, I've been shooting a Scott Sabertooth double caliper release (velcro) and really like it too. But then I went out and got a Little Goose single caliper (buckle) because I wanted to break in a buckle release to use as a backup but found out that the single caliper release puts my arrows about 3" LEFT of the bullseye. Anyone else notice the difference between the single and double calipers?

Ah, fine tuning and tinkering - gotta love it! Will be switching over to all broadhead practice about the first of Aug getting ready for my Sept bear hunt! Leaving 2 months from today!:D
