3 of us went to a small private lake in Fowlerville yesterday. We ended up nailing the gills on leeches and flies. While cleaning them this morning, we realized there were still eggs in them! We were fishing a dropoff between 8 and 15 feet. Also, we almost landed a large pike (never saw it) on a hooked bluegill. It fought for 5 minutes before it let go. The mosquitos chased us off the water before it was even dark, but it was still a great trip. Hey, the boat floats. ;)
