Hello, I'm gearing up to hunt Turkey for the first time this year and am planning on using a shotgun. I was wondering if there is a certain choke I should use on the hunt. BTW this is my first post and this is a great looking forum.

Right on the money Trout. It is not so much the choke as much as taking the time to pattern your gun. You can even miss with a turkey choke if you don't know where your gun pattern is. It is worth the time and a few shells to have the confidence of a kill shot when mister long beard is coming to visit.

Listen to stalker, I happen to know he (and I) scared Mr. longbeard away. We did score on a couple nice jakes though. I agree the time it takes to know where you are shooting is worth a lot more that many other kinds of preparation. Thats true of any shooting though.
