Just got back from a week in the Curtis area. Fishing was SLOOOWWW!!!
Weather was cold and windy. Water temps on Big Man. and Little Man. are in the low 60's. We caught quite a few hammerhandles on Little Man and we started to figure out the Eye's on the last couple days of the trip, but overall it was a poor week of fishing. We survived two days of severe t-storms and four days of 20+ mph winds and temps never getting above 55 degrees. If you want to have fun, then go to the Blind Sucker Flooding. Tons of pike, however small in size . We had a great time despite the weather. P.s. you will need as much deet as you can find.
