24!!!

24 hours from this very second our group will be departing from Bridgeport and heading north across the Straights to South Manistique Lake. It is hard to believe what the preperation and anticipation for a week long fishing trip does do a person. I feel the same way right now as I did when I was 14 on November 14th.

I will be in a 16ft tuffy boat standing on the front casting deck either chucking musky baits or pulling off shore boards. If anyone is going to be in the area give a shout.

Aside from that I will see ya all in a week or so.

Hi Dan,
We too, will be heading across the Bridge tomorrow. We will be turning right, however, not left, after we cross the Bridge. Spending 2 weeks in Cedarville in the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands area. We will be the ones with the smoker running all day with herring in it!! (Oh, and making a few donations to the slot machines)

Already have 80 herring in 3 days. Smoked half and the other are in fillet form. Wax worms on a red tear drop got half, casting with half oz swedish pimple got the other half!! Most caught in Mc Kay bay.

Others are getting a good number of perch (smaller ones) in Moscoe Channel.

A few pike are being caught in Cedarville Bay.

Beautiful weather so far and still have a week and a half left up here!!
