installing a wash down pump?

I have a 95' trophy. I would like to install a wash down hose in it. It has a livewell in it now. Can I attach a hose to the livewell intake or do I have to install a different pump for a washdown. Thanks.

You will need to install a different pump & I would install a new thru hull w/ball valve & strainer combo. I have some wash down kits available that have most everything needed but some prefer to just make up what they need after buying they pump.
