whats a 22ft 1987 sports craft worth?

talking to a older man whos thinking about selling his boats, he mentioned this one with a 140hp motor with the trailer for around 3,000 dollars, to me this sounds like a steal.

It is a 20 year old boat ??? Hard to put a value on it without knowing a lot more information ? Did the owner take care of the boat ?? Or Did it spend its life outside, uncovered and exposed to the elements ?

Older SportCraft...... he should give you $500 to take it. Those boats are the worst built boats out there, expecially in from the 80's. You couldn't give me that boat, unless there was some rod holders or eclectronics to salvage before taking the hull to the scrap yard.
