Probably the best thing that the administrator can do is have a section in the crossbow forum just for debating legalities and have another section for talking crossbows and crossbow hunting ONLY.

Just don't allow yourself to get dragged into the irrational tit for tat bickering. Here's a pretty good suggestion a member had on the subject:


From this point forward because we obviously have some very opinionated folks that are very set in their ways so here is an idea.. Because they are only responding to start an argument. So when a negative response comes through on the thread even as much as I want to say something JUST IGNORE IT! Just keep the positives going and let the naysayers be the naysayers..
Trust me it will drive them more crazy than it will you know. - Because they wont have anyone to fight with and 2- Cause we will still get the bill passed as long as we stick together on it and focus on getting it done!

So once again - IGNORE THE NOISE!!!

Eventually it will go away!
