I have some domestic geese that live in my pond and all my food plots surround the pond so I need to know if spraying will harm the geese? To be exact I am using concentrated weed & grass killer from TSC. The geese live off the vegatation around the pond and wont eat anything I give them. Last year I just tilled and planted but I ended up with a really bad weed problem so I need to spray.
Thanks

What's the active ingredient in the weed and grass killer you bought? It should be on the front page of the attached label or on the jug.

All it says is:
25% Glyphosate
75% other ingredients
It came with a booklet but doesnt say anything about pets... I ended up spraying late yesterday afternoon because the geese usually stay in a certain area from that point through-out the night.. As of this morning, which really surprised me, I had already seen at least 5 deer walking through the sprayed area and also seen my geese were out and about too so I think I'm ok..
Thanks

CB, Monsanto has or use to have an aquatic label for glyphosate. I suspect it was tested safe to fish as well as migratory birds. Glyphosate appears to kill only green things, grass, broadleaves, Leprachans, etc. :)
